On credible information on 13/04/07 at 16:30 Hrs, Sri B.S.Sathish, PSI Karkala Rural PS along with his staff raided a spot near Guddeyandady, Shirlalu village, Karkala Taluk where the accused Sridhar Poojary S/o Kariya Poojary, Hadiyandady, Shirlalu village was found selling arrack packets to the public without any license. After arresting him, police seized 200 arrack packets and registered a case against him under Karnataka Excise Act.
