Robbery case reported at Udupi Town

On 13/04/07, at 20:30 Hrs, while the complainant Rithesh was walking along with one Sathish who is a friend of Rithesh’s friend, at Kunjigudde, Ambalpady, Udupi, Sathish suddenly drew a knife from his Pant pocket, and by threatening him demanded him to give his mobile set. Under fear Rithesh gave the mobile set. Immediately Sathish snatched the golden chain from the neck of the Rithesh and ran away from the spot. In the darkness with the help of local people Rithesh tried to look for Sathish, but failed. The value of total property robbed valued rupees 26,000/-. In this connection a robbery case has been registered against Sathish By Udupi Town Police on the complaint of Rithesh. Efforts are on to trace the accused and to recover the property.
