On 27/02/07 at 1715 Hrs, near pangala bridge, Uliyaragoli village, NH 17, one Riyaz Ahmed, Koppala house, Uchchila, motor cycle rider bearing registration No. KA 20 J 338 was fatally nocked down after he hit by a tempo bearing registration No. KA 19 B 475. A case has been registered by Kaup police in Cr. No. 41/07 U/s 279, 304 (A) IPC against the driver of the tempo in this regard and the investigation is on.
