On 04/07/2007 at 17:15 hrs on credible information, PSI Kaup, Sri. Shivananda S. Walekar and his staff raided a place in Padu village near Kaup Bus stand. At the time of police raid the accused Surendra Poojary 36 yrs of Kaup padu village was found collecting money from the public for betting on matka, In one more incident the Gangolli police arrested Nuthan kumar, 21 yrs of Gangolli was found collecting money from the public for betting on matka and the accused persons were arrested and a total amount of Rs 532/- was seized along with matka chits.
