On 18/06/2007, at 0930 Hrs in a road mishap between bus bearing registration No. KA 20 A 8415 and a motor cycle bearing registration No. KA 20 K 6229, at Marpalli Road , Udupi. Sri Laxmikanth, the rider of the motor cycle was seriously injured and died at KMC Hospital Manipal, A case has been registered against the bus driver in Udupi Town PS and the case is under investigation
