On 03/03/07 one day medical check up camp was organized for Police personnel at KMC hospital Karkala. Camp for Police personnel was organized by KMC hospital and Rotary club, Karkala and specialists from KMC hospital, Manipal also provided their services. In this camp Police personnel were examined for general health, blood pressure, diabetes and also for vision. Police personnel from Karkala Town P.S., Karkala Rural P.S. and Hebri P.S. were beneficiaries of this camp. It may be noted that Police personnel are always overworked and many a time they work under stress, so such regular medical check ups are necessary.
