Stolen property recovered along with thieves

On 05/025/07 at 05:00 Hrs, While Sri C.E.Thimmaiah, PI, DCIB, Udupi and his staff were on rounds near Kaup Fish market, Udupi Taluk, they picked up two persons who were suspiciously trying to flee from the spot on seeing the police and after questioning them, they confessed to a series of property offences involving electric goods. The police team then seized valueable vessels and a pumpset from various places where they had disposed them off. The offenders Suresh Vaddar aged 30 years and Ramu Gouli aged 40 years in their confession revealed that the offences were committed in the surroundings of Kaup. Total worth of the property recovered by the police team was Rs. 12,000/-.
