On 20/02/07, on credible information, Sri. C.E. Thimmaiah PI, DCIB and his staff raided the Hotel J.K. Residency, Kundapura Room No. 203, where the accused 1) Ganesh Shetty, 2) Abdul Sathar, 3) Subhash Shetty, 4) Ashok Kumar and 5) Ramananda were found gambling. The accused were arrested and property Rs. 25,180/- in Cash and 52 playing cards used for the game were seized. In this connection a gambling case has been registered in Kundapura PS and investigation is on.
