Today on 27/01/2007 at 04:00 Hrs, Sri Cheluvaraju, PSI Byndoor and his staff intercepted one vehicle illegally transporting 3 cows, at Shiroor, Kelapete junction, Byndoor . The cows were thus rescued. In this connection a case in Byndoor PS Cr. No. 19/07 U/s 8 & 11 of Karnataka prevention of cow slaughter act 1964 has been registered. Two accused name Vargheese and Jamal were arrested. The case is under investigation.
