Cattle rescued at Gangolli

On the credible information, on 28/12/2006 at about 1830 Hrs, PSI Gangolli Sri B.M.Thimmaraju along with his staff raided near Harkot, Gangolli Kasaba village where one Khaza saheb kept 16 cattles in his compound for slaughtering purpose with the help of one Tabraz and 8 to 10 others in view of celebrating forthcoming Bakrid festival. On seeing the police they escaped from the spot. The cattles were rescued. And case in Gangolli P.S Cr No 100/06 U/s 8 & 11 of Karnataka prevention of cow slaughter act 1964 has been registered against the accused persons.

rescuing cattle is a great thing when you are actually doing it as any other case or with the intention of saving a cow traight. but when you do it with communal intention, then it is problematic
