On 18/10/2006 at 13:15 Hrs, on credible information Sri C.E. Thimmayya, PI, DCIB Udupi and his staff raided a public place near Arehole cross, Kirimanjeshwara village, wherein the Jayantha devadiga was collecting the money from the public for betting on Matka. The accused Jayantha Devadiga of Hanglore village was arrested with a Motor cycle, Mobile Phone and an amount of Rs. 3,315/- was seized along with Matka Chits and ball pen. Total worth of Rs. 35,815/- In this connection a case has been registered in Byndor PS and investigation is under process.
