On 19/09/06 one Mr. Nikhil Jadav, Nehru Hostel, B 315, Shivally village complained to Manipal police alleging that on the night of 31/08/2006, some unknown culprits committed theft of his motor cycle bearing registration No. MH 04 CL 1178, black colour, which was parked in front of Library of MAHE, Manipal. The bike is valued at Rs. 41,000/-. In this connection a Vehicle theft case has been registered in Manipal PS Cr. No. 145/06 U/s. 379 IPC and investigation is on.
In between 16/09/2006 night to 17/09/2006 20: 30 hrs, some unknown culprits committed theft of Hero Honda motor cycle bearing registration No. KA 31 J 5073, black colour, which was parked in front of Medical shop, near T.M.A. Pai Hospital, Udupi. The bike is valued at Rs. 25,000/-. In this connection a Vehicle theft case has been registered in Udupi Town PS on the complaint of Sri Harish, Kergal, Kundapura in Cr. No. 276/06 U/s. 379 IPC and investigation is on.
An alert message has been sent to all neighbouring districts to trace the vehicles and inform the concerned investigation officer in case of any information.
