On 19/09/2006 a police team headed by Sri Mahesh Prasad, PSI Hiriyadka Police Station raided a house in Atrady village and seized sandalwood pieces of around 15 KG . The sandalwood was meant for illegal sale. Two persons Smt. Jubeda, Harish Seregar were arrested in this regard. Another person named Akbar Ali is absconding. In this connection a case has been registered in Hiriyadka PS Cr No- 94/06 U/s 86,87 K.F. Act and investigation is under process.
