On 31/08/2006, a girl named Kumari Saritha aged about 20 yrs, went to work to Manipal in the morning from her house Hamsa nilaya, in Herga Village, Manipal and did not return back home that night. In this connection a case has been registered in Manipal PS Cr. No. 139/06 U/s Girl missing on the complaint of Sri. Jayantha Attappa Suvarna, Hamsa nilaya, Herga village, Manipal and the case is under investigation.
