On 30/07/2006 at 14:15 Hrs on credible information Sri C.E. Thimmayya, PI, DCIB Udupi and his staff raided a public place near Govindoor Arrack Shop, YerlapadyVillage, Karkala. Wherein Chandra Hegde, Ananda Moolya, Ananda Sappalliga , Sathish Hegde and others were found playing “Andar-Bahar”. The accused persons were arrested and an amount of Rs. 1,100/- was seized along with playing cards. In this connection a case has been registered in Karkala Town PS Cr No- 90/06 U/s 87 K.P. Act and investigation is under process.
