On 30/12/07 at 14:30 hrs, on credible information PI DCIB Mr. Girish along with his staff raided one computer game center where gambling was going on. Police team raided Play Station Computer Game near Janardhan Hotel, Udupi which belongs to one Rajesh of Kadekar, Udupi. Accordingly Police party seized six computers, UPS, batteries and other computer accessories all worth Rs. 2,50,000/- and cash Rs. 3434/- with arresting seven persons. One person by name Anil from Bangalore provided all these facilities to Rajesh to start gambling with help of computers and Rajesh was using all these computers with different games loaded for the purpose of gambling.In this connection a case has been registered in Udupi Town Police Station.
