On 29/12/2007 at 12:15hrs. near Belmana Bus stop, Belman, driver of a Lorry bearing registration number CNX-6979, drove his Vehicle in a rash & negligent manner and hit to an motor cycle from the way of Karkala to Padubidri. Then onwords loosing control over his Vehicle the driver of the lorry hit to the shop of raghavendra Achar, and then onwords hit to an Alto car bearing registration number KA 21 M 3403. Finaly stopped after hiting to a lady who was standing in the side of the road for catching a bus. As a result the lady Smt. Mani Shetty received serious injuries and scummbed to his injuries in hospital and the motorcycle rider also got serious injuries and admitted to the hospital. In this connection a case has been registered in Karkala Rural Ps and investigation is on.
