On 13/04/08 at 18:00 hrs. Sri. Mohan K. PSI, Padubidri PS and his staff raided a place near Santhoor Parari, Santhoor village. At time of Police party raid accused 1) Shashidhar S/o. Sadhu Aslar R/o. Ponadi, Pilar 2) Sadhu S/o. Thungu R/. Ponadi, Pilar 3) Sundar Shetty S/o. Siddhu Shetty, Kalottu, Pilar 4) Ravi Shetty S/o. Late Mahabala Shetty R/o. Konkana Hithlu, Mallar 5) Narayana Shetty S/o. Late Muchinkra Shetty R/o. Balike Mane, Pilaru 6) Babu Shetty S/o. Late Sheena Shetty R/o. Thammottu, Pilar and 7) Shankar Shetty S/o. Muddu Shetty, R/o. Baidikku, Santhoor were playing cock-fight gambling by betting with money. All 7 accused arrested at the spot and seized Rs. 4,525/- with 10 cocks. In this connection a gambling case has been registered in Padubidri PS.
