On 21/04/2008 at 07.10 hrs Annayya Golla Head Constable of Shankarnarayana PS received a phone call regarding illegal transportation of caw for slaughtering. Immediately he & other staff of SNPS rushed Salegadde, Yadamogg Village & stopped the vehicle bearing registration number KA 19 A 5542 & found 19 cows in the vehicle. Which was to be transferred to Kudrali Manglore for Slaughtering. In this connection a case has been registered in Shankaranarayana PS and investigation is under process.
