On 09/07/2007 at 11:30 hrs, with credible information, DCIB Inspector Sri. C.E. Thimmaiah and his staff raided a place in Shirva village near Bantakallu bus stand, At the time of police raid the accused Raghavendra was found collecting money from the public for betting on matka. Accused Raghavendra was arrested and an amount of Rs 407/- was seized along with matka chits . In this connection a Matka case is registered in Shirva PS and investigation is on.
