On 05/04/07 in between 11:30 hrs to 17:20 hrs, some unknown culprits gained entry into the house of “Sri Laxmi”, Near Vinayaka bettu Temple, Thellaru road, Karkala, Kasaba Village by break the door lock and committed theft 65 Sovereign Gold Ornaments and cash worth Rs. 50,000/-. Total stolen property worth Rs. 5,70,000/-. In this connection a theft case has been registered in Karkala Town PS Cr. No. 55/07 U/s 454,380 IPC and investigation is on to trace the culprits and the property.
