On 11/04/2007 at 14:40 hrs. near sulseya cross, Madoor village, Kundapura, One person Sudhi Kumar of kollur sustained fatal injuries after being thrown out of the bus bearing registration number KA-20 A 3029 of Sri Durgamba motors Kundapura. While moving towards Hemady to Kollur, the driver of the bus trying to catch some parcel bag ,held the bus steering in one hand in a negligent manner. At that time, the bus took a sudden diversion sideways and sudhi kumar who was traveling in the bus was thrown out of the bus & and sustained fatal injuries and died as a result. Other passengers of the bus also sustained injuries during the course. In this connection a case has been registered against the rash and negligent driver of the bus in Kundapura PS Cr. No. 118/07 U/s. 279,337,338,304(A) IPC and investigation is on.
