On 05/04/07 at 18:30 hrs, Sri. Prakash B.S. PSI Udupi Town and his staff raided a arrack shop near Nittor, Udupi wherein the accused Narayana Poojary of Kadankoor, Puttur, Udupi was collecting money from the public for betting on Matka. Accused narayana Poojary was arrested and seized cash worth Rs. 205/-, along with ball pen and Matka chits. In this connection case has been registered in Udupi Town PS.
