On 07/04/07 at 21:00 hrs, Sri. B.P. Dinesh Kumar, CPI Brahmavara and his staff arrested Chandra Poojary near Arun Hair cutting salon, Barkoor, wherein the accused Chandra Poojary was found hand over cash to Sathish Shetty and Rathnakara Shetty, which was collected from the public for betting on Matka. Accused Chandra Poojary was arrested with his motor cycle bearing Reg No KA 20 R 6475 and seized cash worth Rs. 3100/-, along with ball pen and Matka chits. In this connection a case has been registered in Brahmavara PS.
