Workshop on enforcement and information about law

On 18/03/07 at 1000 Hrs at Sentinel hall, district police office, Udupi a workshop on enforcement and information about law has been inaugurated under the joint leadership of District Law Service Authority, Udupi district, Bar Association, Udupi and District Police, Udupi. Sri H.N.Sathyanarayana Rao, IPS, IGP, Western Range, Mangalore inaugurated the function. Sri K.N.Phaneendra, Hon’ble District and Sessions Judge, Udupi participated in the workshop as a president. Sri A.M.Ramachandraiah, Hon’ble Chief Civil Judge (Senior Division), and Member Secretary, District Law Service Authority, Udupi district, Udupi, Dr.A.Subramanyeswara Rao, IPS, S.P., Udupi, and Sri A.Sanjeeva, President, Bar Association, Udupi attended the workshop as chief guests. Sri Prabhakar Hegde, Senior Advocate, Udupi delivered his grateful thoughts to police people who attended as a resource person. The police officers and staff of Udupi police have participated in the workshop. All the dignitaries shared their knowledge to the officers and policemen. In his president speech, Sri K.N.Phaneendra, Hon’ble District and Sessions judge, Udupi quoted that by the way to search of truth, the police should perform his duty unlike to following oneway of investigation. Sri Sheena Billava, Brahmavara Circle office, Sri Rosario D’souza, Udupi Town PS and Sri Krishnappa, Malpe PS have been awarded for Rs. 500/- each for asking valuable question. Sri Vishwanatha, CPI, Udupi delivered vote of thanks to the dignitaries. The workshop concluded at 14:45 Hrs.
