On 20/01/07 in between 08:45 hrs to 14:00 hrs, some unknown culprits gained entry into Herga Manjunatha Patel's house at Saraswathinagara, Manibettu Parkala, Herga village, by breaking open the back door and committed a theft of Rs. 3,500/- in cash along with one Cell Phone & gold ornaments valueing Rs.15,000/- from the Almera. In this connection a theft case has been registered in Manipal PS Cr. No. 17/07 U/s. 457, 380 IPC and investigation is on to trace the culprits and property.
