In between 24/01/07, 20:30 hrs. to 25/01/07, 05:00 hrs, some unknown culprits gained entry into Sree Venkataramana Temple, Shiva gudi at Shivalli village, Udupi by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of pooja articles and otive box. Total worth Rs. 23,000/-. A theft case has been registered in this connection in Manipal PS Cr. No. 19/07 U/s. 457, 380 IPC and investigation is on to trace the culprits and property.
