On 17/11/2006 at 19:00 hrs one credible information Sri. Raghav PSI, Kundapura and his staff raided public places in Mangal pande road, Kundapura, wherein the accused persons Ashoke Hegde, Ganesh, Vinod and Diwakar collecting money from the public for betting on matka. Ashok Hegde, Ganesh and Vinod were arrested and Diwakar absconding from the spot. 3 Mobile phones, 2 Motor Cycle and Rs. 1,700/- were seized from the accused.
