In between 1000 Hrs to 1400 Hrs on 29/10/2006, some unknown culprits gained entry into the house of Sri Edmond Machado, located near M.S.R.S. college, Shirva village, Udupi, by breaking open the front doorlock & committed a theft of golden ornaments worth Rs. 24,500/-. In this connection a theft case has been registered in Shirva PS and investigation is on.

On 31/10/2006, in between 12:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into Florin Barboja house, behind Hindu school, Shirva Village and committed a theft of Mikki mouse pendent chain- 1, Pearls chain - 1, Ear ring 1set, Brasslight-2 & Bangals. In this connection a theft case has been registered in Shirva PS Cr. No. 62/06 U/s 454, 380 IPC and investigation is on.
