On 22/10/06 at 17:15 hrs, one Mr. Shanker rider of motor cycle numbered KA-20 H-9354 drove his motor cycle in rash & negligent manner & fall down near Halima sabji Hall, NH-17, Udayavara, Udupi and received serious injuries and admitted to near by hospital, today at 13:30 hrs, he succumbed to injuries in the hospital. In this connection a case has been registered in Kaup PS Cr. No. 160/06 U/s. 279, 304(A) IPC and investigation is on.
Today on 23/10/06 at 10:25 hrs, a motor cycle rider, Raghavendra aged 23 years along with his friend Raghu aged 16 years are hit by KA-15 1934 numbered bus. The driver of the bus Devaraj drove his bus in rash & negligent manner and Pillion rider Raghu was fatally knocked down by bus. In this regard a case has been registered in Kollur PS Cr No-64/06 U/s 279, 337, 304(A) IPC and investigation is on.
In another incident a Motor cycle rider, Rathnaraja Jain of Kervashi village was fatally knocked down by a 407-Tempoo. The accident occurred on 23/10/2006 at 08:30 hrs. near Hosmar, Edu village, karkalla Taluk. A case has been registered in Karkala Rural PS Cr. No. 117/06 U/s. 279, 304(A) IPC and investigation is on.
In one more incident on 23/10/06 at 10:30 hrs a Motor cycle rider, Sitharama Shetty aged 53 years along with his friend Dinesh Ganiga aged 30 years are hit by MH-05 AB-2127 numbered car. The driver of the car drove his car in rash & negligent manner and fatally knocked down the riders. Dinesh Ganiga was succumbed to his injuries. In this regard a case has been registered in Kota PS Cr No-181/06 U/s 279, 338, 304(A) IPC and investigation is on.
