The cross-border sponsored terrorist outfits continue to pursue their agenda of disruptive and destabilizing activities. Their modus operandi is to attack soft targets and the places of National importance, worship centers and out economic and vital infrastructure. Their intentions also are to create a communal divide in the country. These externally sponsored terrorist elements can’t operate without local support. There have also been cases where some of these elements have been able to merge with the local population, stay like ordinary people and provide critical backup to the terrorist elements in carrying out their nefarious activities.
In this background, it is considered imperative to verify antecedents of tenants and also of those wanting to buy second hand vehicles such as cars, motor bikes etc. The landlords desirous of letting out their premises and the owners of such vehicles must be sensitized to do all needed pre-verification and take all possible precautions before finalizing such transactions lest these go into the wrong hands. As responsible citizens, be duty bound to assist the administration in preventing presence of such disruptive elements.
