Sri Vishwanath CPI Udupi and Sri. Gajendrappa PSI Crime Udupi & his staff who were on Rounds, spotted a group of five persons looking suspiciously at the police vehicle and flee from the spot. Immediately CPI Udupi caught the suspected persons, while on interrogation they were found to be in possession of five mobile sets and other electronic items. They further disclosed their name as Ranga, Krishnna, H. Kumar, Raghavendra and Kumar of Shimoga. In this connection a case has been registered in Udupi Town PS Cr. No. 285/06 U/s 41 (1) (D), 102 CrPC & 379 IPC and investigation is on.Thursday, September 28, 2006
