Udupi Police today raided selling pirated CD`s and DVD`s. Two Police teams led by DCIB inspector Sri C.E.Thimmaiah and Udupi-Town Law & Order Sub-Inspector Sri. Jayanth M conducted the raids. The raids were conducted at Asma Cassette Centre, Rachana Cassette Centre and also street cassette vendors in Udupi city. In this regard a case has been registered in Udupi Town PS in Cr. No. 279/06 U/s 52 (A), 68(A) of Indian Copyright Act and the case is under investigation. A close watch is kept against selling of duplicate CDs in the district.
