On 05/09/2006, a girl named Kumari Manasa aged about 18 yrs, went to town after collecting all her photos along with her from her house, near Reeju cottage, 2nd stage, Ananthnagar, Manipal and did not return home. In this connection a case has been registered in Manipal PS Cr. No. 140/06 U/s Girl missing on the complaint of her brother Mr. Avinash K.S. and the case is under investigation.

I’m really concerned about these missing cases of girls in Udupi and Mangalore Districts. Whenever a girl goes missing now a day’s public will rationally think that some body from the other community is responsible. Most of time it has been proved as right. Police should take strict actions against these activities. Parents of girls should be alert round the clock to prevent these sorts of incidents.
