On 7/08/2006 near Pravasi Hotel, N. H. 17, Tallur, Kundapura, in a road accident involving a Bajaj M-80 bearing Reg. No. KA 20 J 8549 and Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA 30/2613, the pillion rider of the Bajaj M-80 Sri. Madhukar Devadiga was killed on the spot due to head injuries and Sanjeeva Mogaveera rider of the Bajaj M-80 sustained minor injuries. In this connection a case against the rash and negligent lorry driver has been registered under Kundapura PS Cr. No. 191/06 U/s. 279, 337, 304(A) IPC and investigation under process.
