On 17/07/06 at 17.30 hrs on credible information Sri. Mahesh Prasad PSI, Hiriyadaka P.S. and his staff raided a public place near padegara bus stand, wherein the accused Jaya Sherigara, Perdoor was collecting money from the public for betting on Matka. Jaya Sherigara was arrested and an amount of Rs. 110/- was seized along with Matka Chits and ball pen.
On 17/07/06 at 18.30 hrs on credible information Sri. Srinivas Raj PSI, Karkala Rural P.S. and his staff raided a public place near Halekatte Juction, Karkala, wherein the accused Rajendra Shervegar, Kanjarkatte collecting money from the public for betting on Matka. Rajendra Shervegar was arrested and an amount of Rs. 520/- was sized along with Matka Chits and ball pen.
