On 03/02/2008 at 08:00 hrs, near Koppalangady, on the way of NH-17, while PSI Kaup and his staff checking the vehicles, the driver of a Maruthi Zen car bearing Reg No. KA-19 Z 4648 runaway without stopping his vehicle, Meanwhile the police party found the car near Kothalakatte, Uliyaragoli. After checking the vehicle it was found some stolen Aluminum frames worth Rs-8,000/-. While interrogating the driver Manjunth aged 30 years of Punaroor, he reviled that other 2 persons named Musthak & Imran were escaped from the car. Police party were investigating the case to get more information.
