Gambling raid at Hebri

On 23/04/08 at 18:15 hrs. on credible information Dy.S.P., Karkala Sri. Girish along with PSI Hebri and his staff raided a shed at Seethanadi Village. At the time of police party raid accused 1) Bhaskar Shetty, 2) Prakash Shetty, 3) Dinakara Poojary, 4) Rathnakar Shetty, 5) Shiva Poojary, 6) Ranga@Ranganath Poojary, 7) Karunakar Shetty, 8) Sachidananda Shetty, 9) Sannayya and 10) Suresh Shetty were playing Andar-Bahar game by betting money. All 10 accused are arrested. Rs. 32,045/-, 8 Mobiles, 4 Motor Cycles and 4 chairs were seized from the spot. In this connection a gambling case has been registered in Hebri PS.
