On 17/12/07 at 17:00 hrs., on credible information Sri. B.S. Sathish, PSI Karkala Rural P.S along with his staff raided a public place near Alimargudde, Edu Village, Karkala Taluk and seized illegally stored arrack worth Rs 9814/- and a cash of Rs.2150/-. In this regard accused Siril D’ Souza S/o Gregory D’ Souza, Kuriyaru, Edu village was arrested and a case has been registered against him in Karkala Rural PS.
