On the night of 02/09/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into a house located at Karkada village, Udupi Taluk by breaking open the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and other valuables. Kota police registered a theft case in this regard on the complaint of Sri Kalinga Achar. Efforts are on to trace the culprits and the property.
