On 23/09/07 at 09:45 hrs. PI Manipal PS Sri. B.G. Achar and his staff raided near Tiger Circle, Shivalli Village, Manipal, at the time of police party raid one Lady Soniya @ sonu provoking public to prostitution. Accused lady was arrested and a prostitution case has been registered in Manipal PS and investigation is on.

Am very happy to know this being a resident of manipal itself. Thank you. But i would like to request police to take proper steps at places where metal detectors are deployed.Its really heartening to see that police have taken steps regarding public safety and security but why to ignore a little after doing so much. Please consider the request. Thank you.
I am happy to know that you have taken such steps but i would also like you to know that the broadway lodge in manipal has become the center of prostitution and no step has been taken to stop it.....many students of manipal university are also involved
