Functioning of Motor Vehicle Verification Counter,
District Police Office, Udupi

A separate counter has been opened at District Police Office, Udupi for the smooth functioning of record check i.e. Motor Vehicle Verification Counter. This counter is running according to Govt. Order No. H.D. 273/SST/2005 dated 20/05/05 and MVVC circular No. 13/GNL/IGP/TS/04-05 dated 22/06/05. The functioning of Motor Vehicle Verification Counter is as follows:

1) Job Verification of Private Sector / Corporates / Multi National Companies
2) Verification in respect of Domestic help etc
3) Verification in respect of Marriage alliances
4) Finger Print Certification
5) Verification of Stolen / Recovered Motor Vehicle

Fees Structure for the above verifications:-

1) Job Verification of PrivateSector/Corporates / MNC

( Verification of Criminal Antecedents by Record check.) Rs. 3,000/-
(Verification of address/ local reputation in addition to Record check.) Rs. 6,000/-

2) Verification in respect of Domestic help etc
( Verification of Criminal Antecedents by Record check.) Rs. 1,000/-

( Verification of address/ local reputation in addition to Record check.) Rs. 2,000/-

3) Verification in respect of Marriage Alliances
( Verification of Criminal Antecedents by Record check.) Rs. 1,000/-

( Verification of address/ local reputation in addition to Record check.) Rs. 2,000/-

4) Finger Print Certification Rs. 500/-

5) Verification of Stolen / Recovered Motor Vehicle Rs. 20/-

The applications received at the counter or through post will have to be accompanied by cash/ DD for the appropriate amount.
