The Udupi Police have launched an online complaint filing facility on the Udupi Police blog. The facility can be accessed by clicking on the online filing of complaints link on the blog. Even otherwise online complaints can be mailed to spudupi@gmail.com. The complaints will be received and after having brought to the notice of SP Udupi they will be dispatched for enquiry to any nominated officer. After completion of enquiry the report along with the endorsement will be duly mailed to the complainant. However if a cognizable offence is made out in the first case, the complaint will be verified on priority and an FIR registered after due verification and receiving a signed copy of the complaint from the complainant. Online complaints will be given the same priority as those received directly at the police offices and an endorsement will be mailed back to the complainant invariably. The facility is being launched on an experimental basis and any suggestions for improvement of services are welcome from the public.

Its good sign that now people can lodge complaint Online.
This "Online filing of complaints" shows Email id only.some citizens do not have Email or know how to send emails till its common practice.
We, MIT,IITian and member of MyNation glad to develop online forms for free [Eg:http://mynation.net/contact] to Serve Law Authority and society.which can send Online complaints, without any login.

Fantastic advancement in the filing process. However, the 'online filing of complaints' link is not active - a mistake or work-in-progress? That leaves email as the only option.
It doesn't seem like someone is reading and/or taking action on the complaints logged this way.
Is there anything else I need to do following writing in a complaint online to get theri response?
Dear Sir,
I have complaint about Child harassment in Malpe Flower of Paradise Public School.
I will request you that,UKG childrens they held full day class (8 Hours),in Udupi District all over UKG childrens have half day class, only Flower of Paradise school they are punishing children s because of full day class.
However,childrens cannot eat food themselves small cildrens why they are giving more headache this is not correct system,they will do home work and again morning attend class they are not getting time with parents.
Please take action against them make half day class for UKG.
