2 Killed in Road Accident

On 05/06/08 at about 13:30 hrs, near Karikalakatte, Manoor village, NH 17, the driver of the lorry bearing registration number CTW 4803 named Krishna Dundappa Kadalagi drove his lorry in a rash and negligent manner towards Udupi and dashed behind to a motor cycle bearing Reg No KA 20 J 4879. Hence both rider & Pillion rider of the motor cycle got serious injuries, then onwards the driver of lorry lost control over the lorry as a result the lorry turned over resulting to which driver of lorry succumbed at the spot to the injuries. In this regard a case has been registered in Kota PS. Investigation is on.

In one more incident at about 13:30 hrs near Bijoor bus stand, Bijoor, the driver of a Auto rickshaw bearing Reg No KA 20 U-4991, drive his Auto Rickshaw in rash & negligent manner and dashed against a motor cycle, Hence rider of motor cycle Rama Poojary got head injuries and succumbed to injuries in hospital. Byndoor police registered a case against driver of Auto Rickshaw.
