Robbery case reported in Byndoor PS

Yesterday in the morning Udupi Police has come to know about a serious incident of robbery that has happened at Noojady of 11 th Ullur village coming under Byndoor Police Station limits at the house of one Smt. Sangeetha K. Naik. Three unknown culprits seems to have threatened the the complainant Smt. Sangeetha K. Naik and robbed her of her gold ornaments. The incident being very serious, the police is all out to nab the culprits at the earliest. The sketches of the ornaments are hereby put below for everyone to see. We seek cooperation from the public in nabbing the culprits. Suitable reward wll be given to the person who gives us the requisite information.

On 14/01/08 at 08:00 hrs 4 boys of Balakara Mandira, Nittoor, Udupi were went to washing their cloths and did not return back to Balakara Mandira and found missing. On the complaint of Superintendent of Balakara Bala Bhavana, Nittoor, a Missing case has been registered at Udupi Town Police station. Efforts are on to trace the missing boys .

on 18/01/08 at 08:00 hrs one unknown male persons aged about 70 years, dead body found at Sowparnika river Kollur. It is suspected that he was died by accidental drowning. On 09/01/2008, Sri Raghu Amin 55 years, near Nithyananda Bajana Mandir, Mattu village, Udupi taluk appeared before Kaup police and complained to the effect that, his son Mr. Suresh R Suvarna went from his house on 08/01/2008 by telling that he is going to market. Untill now he does not return back to home. Based on the complaint, Kaup police registered a case under man missing. Efforts are on to trace the missing person. Pedestrian Killed in a Road Accident

On 02nd Jan 2008 at 19:30 hrs. near LaxmindraNagar, Shivalli, Manipal, the rider of a motor cycle bearing registration numbered KA 20 K 2043, dashed against a padestrain named Smt. Sumathi aged about 47 years of Vibudapriya nagar. As a result pedestrian received grievous injury and succumbed to his injuries on the way to the KMC Hospital. In this connection a case has been registered against the rash and negligent rider of the motor cycle in manipal PS and investigation is on.

STOLEN MOTOR CYCLE SIZED ALONG WITH THIEVES BY KOTA POLICE

On the night time of 05/01/08, while PSI Kota and his staff are on night rounds duty they found three persons standing near Saligrama rickshaw stand with one Yamaha libero motorcycle in a suspicious manner. PSI and staff apprehended 1) Krishna (18) S/o Narayana Poojary R/o Parampally, Padukere village, Udupi taluk 2) Harish(18) S/o Narayana Karvi R/o Guddi mane, Paduvari village, Kaundapur taluk and 3) Shankar (23) S/o Krishan Marakala R/o Rukkumane, Holebadi, Gundmi village, Udupi taluk. On interrogation, they confessed that, on 29/12/07 they stolen the said Yamaha libero Motor Cycle bearing registration No. KA 20 Q 3928 near hotel Ramkrishna lodge, Udupi and then they changed its number plate as KA 20 Q 3925. In this regard a case has been registered in Kota PS and investigation is on.

Stolen Lorry seized by Byndoor Police

On 03/01/08 at 03:15 hrs, while PSI Byndoor and his staff on vehicle checking duty at N.H 17, Vatthinane, Pauduvari village, Kundapur taluk found one Mahindra mini lorry driver drove his lorry towards Byndoor ignoring the signal to stop the vehicle and they stopped vehicle some away from the spot. Then 4 persons from the said lorry started to run, PSI and staff apprehended 1) Dhanush @ Nelson (18) S/o Vijaya R/o Garepally, Madivala , Banglore 2) Praksh (24) S/o Dasharath Rao, R/o Laxmisha Badavane, Madivala , Banglore, 3) Raju (18) S/o Venkatesh R/o G.K Layout, Hosa road, Banglore, and 4) Bhasha (20) S/o Late. Sheik ali R/o Koodalagi gate, Begoor, Hosur, Banglore. and enquired about said lorry. During interrogation they confessed that, the said lorry was stolen from other place and its not having any document. In this regard a case has been registered in Byndoor PS and investigation is on.
