D’Souza(29), Belmannu, Karkala 3) Kammarady Thavab(22), Thirthalli Shimoga 4) Ramesh Poojary(28), Gadikallu, Koppa, 5) Santhosh Sherigara(24), Ellur, Padubidri and 6) Darwin Kairana(34), Hubli confessed that they committed theft of 3 Maruthi 800 Car, one Maruthi Omni and 2 Motor Cycles from Udupi surroundings and 1 Motor Cycle from Bhadravathi. And 
also they committed theft 4 computers from Hirekodagi High School, Koppa Taluk, Chikamagalure District. Three Cars, 2 Motorcycles and 4 Computers were seized from the accused. Total seized property worth Rs. 3,05,000/-. One Car, One Motor Cycle, Silver ornaments and brass vessels yet to be seize. Accused persons are involved in several criminal cases at Udupi, Chikamagalure, Koppa and others places. In this connection a case has been registered in Hiriyaka Police station.
