Laptop recovered along with the thief at Manipal

On 13/11/07 in between 09:10 hrs to 10:00 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry to a room No. A 308, located at Nehru block, Manipal and committed theft of Laptop-1, Ipod-1 and Mobile phone-1 of Mr. Sonu Mehta. Manipal police registered a theft case in this regard and formed a team to trace out the case. On the same day on suspicious, the police team apprehended one Rishiraj S/o Sunil Kumar, R/o D 23 Block, room No. A-3, MIT Hostel, Manipal near a shop named “Deltech System” near MGM College, Udupi. After a through interrogation he confessed that he had committed the theft. Based on the confession statement, the Manipal police team recovered all the stolen property.
