On 01/11/2007 at 18:00 hrs, the Junior Engineer of Hosmer telephone exchange Sri. Krishnanda Adiga found 100 meters of feeder cable of BSNL was stolen from Hosmer Veterinary Hospital compound, and 350 meters of feeder cable was stolen from Gumethu & Kodeya locality, which was used for the purpose of connecting BSNL equipment. The cost of the stolen property worth Rs: 8,700/-. In this regard a case has been registered at Karkal Rural P.S. and investigation is on to trace the culprits.
